75 Illustrations

75 Illustrations is a personal illustration project dedicated to drawing one type of subject matter seventy-five times. This project took place over four months. I chose a cat as my subject matter because I have a basic understanding of cat anatomy, and I felt confident in committing to this project due to the flexibility cats gave me as a subject.

Illustrating the same subject matter over and over again gave me the opportunity to experiment beyond my usual illustration tools and styles. I used a variety of tools such as pen-and-pencil, Procreate, and Adobe Illustrator. In particular, I was able to freely learn and experiment with lots of Illustrator tools I never really needed to use before.
